Let's take a fraction 2/3 and a whole number 6

So 2/3*6 = 12/3 = 4

So in this way we can multiply a fraction with a whole number

Hooe this helps....

When you multiply whole numbers by fractions, you only multiply the numerator
(E.g. 2*3/4=>(2*3)/4)
