Sure, plants are green because their cells contain chloroplasts which have the pigment chlorophyll which absorbs deep-blue and red light, so that the rest of the sunlight spectrum is being reflected, causing the plant to look green.

Plants are green because their cell includes chloroplasts and chloroplasts contain chlorophyll which is green in color. Since, chlorophyll absorbs all VIBGYOR (Violet,Indigo,Blue,Green,Yellow,Orange,Red) colors except green which results in the plants to look green. Also we tend to look those colors which are reflected by the object and since plant reflects the green light as it contains chlorophyll that's why plants look green.
