The graph of x2+y2=9x2+y2=9 describes all the points in the universe that show up on the (x,y) coordinate plane that will make this equation true. Can you think of an (x,y) pair that you could “plug into” the equation and have both sides still balance? It’s convenient that 9 is a perfect square, because that means (3,0) will work:
32+02=932+02=9
9+0=99+0=9
9=9
