Take about 950 ml of distilled water in a 1 litre volumetric flask and add to this with stirring 4.9 g or 4.9÷1.84=2.66 ml of concentratedsulphuric acid (49 g/mol being the equivalent weight of sulphuric acid) and dilute the resultingsolution to 1000 ml by adding water.
