I was in the same state as you are an year earlier but trust me i managed to score a 96 in English core. FOLLOW MY WORDS EXACTLY These are a few cases i found most commonly among my peers
1. You study all the literature part 2 days before xam or not at all and give ur best shot
2. You study night before the xam and give ur best shot
3.you study an hour before xam and give ur best shot
4 .you do not study at all
5.You find yourself good at English during communication hence you ought to blv u'll crack d xam on basis of your genius
I was the 2nd case
Out of 70 marks i scored consistently 43-56 marks in all my school xams in 12 yet 96 in boards xams(CBSE)
I must admit i had fairly good hold on literature but Written skills was my weak part. One thing that you must remember is write as clear and concise as possible And Finish your syllabus atleast 5 days bfore the D DAY as i guess 5 days are enough for Revision if you have already studied it earlier.
