AIIMS also known as All India Institute of Medical Sciences is quite a popular and sought after destinations for medical aspirants. The competition is tough and getting through the AIIMS UG entrance exam is difficult. But as they say, nothing is impossible. I gave my best shot while preparing and started my preparing from class 12th. Here are a few tips that I followed to crack the entrance and make it to the prestigious institution in the country.
First of all, it is important that you have a good understanding of the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology when you are preparing for the entrance.
Syllabus for Physics- Modern Physics, Ray Optics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Waves, Alternating Current, Atoms and Nuclei, Behavior of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Current Electricity, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Electromagnetic Induction, Electronic Devices, Electrostatics, Gravitation, Kinematics, Laws of Motions, Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Optics, Oscillation and Waves, Physical World and Measurement, Properties of Bulk Matter, Work Energy Power.
Syllabus of Chemistry: Alcohol Phenol Ether, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Biomolecules, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Kinetics, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Coordination Compounds, D and F block elements, Electrochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Equilibrium, General Physics and Process of Isolation of Elements, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Hydrocarbons, Hydrogen, Organic Chemistry, Organic Compounds, P block elements, Polymers, Redox Reactions, S block elements, Solid State, Solutions, Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, States of Gases and Liquids, Structure of Atom, Surface Chemistry, Thermodynamics.
Syllabus of Biology: Organizational Structure of Animal Kingdom and Plant Kingdom, Application of Biotechnology, Biodiversity and Conservation, Biomolecules etc.
Apart from the subjects, you need to know everything about the current affairs and your General Knowledge of every aspect of life.
