Hey!

We know that term 1 examination 2021 is going to be objective. So, we have to focus on concept building and not writing answers or presentation.

Consider these tips to score good marks in your class 10th term 1 examination-

Learn new concepts from NCERT

Now you have to focus on understanding the concepts deeply with the help of NCERT. So, make sure that you mark the finest details and also the important ones like formulas, equations, important terms from a definition etc. Makes notes for revision.

Strengthen your concepts

Term 1 board exam will include case/competency-based and assertion-reason based MCQs. And to solve these types of conceptual questions, you need to have a strong hold on all the topics/chapters of all the subjects. And that would only be possible if you’ll practice hundreds of questions per chapter.

Choose the books wisely

Go for an authentic question bank that provides objective questions based on the new pattern. I came across Educart’s latest question bank and saw that it has more than 50% of objective questions per chapter like case and assertion-reason based according to the latest paper pattern and reduced syllabus. I also found important NCERT questions and PYQs in the book. The solutions are well explained and topic-wise notes are given for quick revision. A perfect book to practice for the term 1 examination.

Revise

Did you know that we forget almost 50% of the information we learnt in less than 24 hours?

Well, now you know. So revise at equal intervals to retain what you have learnt.

Manage your study hours

You need to study at least 6–7 hours every day to complete the syllabus on time so that you get the time to practice lots of questions and also to revise. Take one easy and one difficult subject in a day, read its chapters from NCERT and practice the questions through the question bank daily.

All the best!
