Preparation Of 0.05M Phosphate buffer of pH 6.8
1. Weigh 13.609g of monobasic potassium dihdro-orthophosphate (KH2PO4) into a beaker
2. Transfer and washed into a 2000ml volumetric flask with deionized/distilled water
3. Make up to the mark with deionized/distilled water.
4. Measure 1250ml of the solution into 5000ml beaker to read the pH.
5. The pH value should be 4.44 and increased to pH 6.8 with 0.2M NaOH in drops with continuous stirring.
6. Transfer the solution into a 5 litre volumetric flask and made up to the mark with deionized/distilled water (pH 7).
