will dissolve the cellulase in 50mM pH 4.8-5.0 sodium citrate buffer, although sometimes the optimal pH of cellulases is not pH 5. From my experience, cellulase will slowly degrade even at 4C. If you'd like to store cellulase solution for long-term use, I recommend to aliquot the enzyme, flash-freeze it in liquid nitrogen and store it in -20 or -80 freezer. The key to maintain the activity of cellulase is to freeze and thaw the enzyme solution quickly. Good luck
