Effective and consistent study helps you to show what you know and avoid excessive test stress.
Create practice tests with true/false, fill in and multiple–choice questions covering each lecture or text chapter.
Test yourself by writing summaries, facts, examples or diagrams without looking at notes or text.
Schedule time to reread chapter introductions, summaries, vocabulary lists and illustrations prior to tests.
Use a whiteboard to summarize and review formulae and facts, then check accuracy and completeness.
Separate parts of the course that require memorization of facts versus analysis of concepts or problem solving.
Impose an Electronic Lockdown when studying for tests: no phone, Internet, television, or iPod.
Divide and conquer by dividing larger assignments into smaller learning chunks. You’ll learn faster and better.
Create flash cards for definitions, facts, and formulae. Include diagrams to facilitate memory.
Limit your efforts to memorize tedious facts and formulae to 20–minute periods so that you stay alert and effective.
Don’t forget to get enough sleep before tests. Fatigue leads to poor focus and memory.
Alternate study with brief exercise periods. Even running up and down stairs helps break the study stress.
And I wish you All the best for your Exam!

first read the book, notebook, then memorise or practice it by writing that. And then make a question paper then practice it again. I'm sure you will be prepared for exam very well.
