No, the value of Sin varies between -1 and 1 and therefore it can never be greater than 1. Let me elaborate.

Since we know that Sin = Perpendicular/Hypotenuse and a perpendicular can never be longer than the hypotenuse, the value of Sin can never exceed 1. The value of sin becomes negative when theta is more than 180 degrees. I can explain further but I think this will be enough for you
