if my guess is correct then
since electric fuse is a made up of a thin wire of appropriate melting point whenever in large amount of electric current go through it, it goes melt and break the circuit which help to stop overloading

The fuse should not exceed 20A .
if it exceeds then circuit will be break and damaged
I think you might be wrong there are the many kind of a fuse
there are fuse of 1 ampere to ampere 3 ampere 5 ampere Ani 10 ampere and extract RAR
