We have,

→ 2 + 2 = 4.

We can say that :-

→ 20 - 20 = 25 - 25 [ As both equals to 0]

→5 × 4 - 5 × 4 = 5 × 5 - 5 × 5 .

→ 4 ( 5 - 5 ) = 5 ( 5 - 5)  .

{ On cancelling [ 5 - 5 ] both sides }

 ∴ 4 = 5   .

Now,

$\because$ 2 + 2 = 4 . ( given )

∴ 2 + 2 = 5 . [ $\because$ 4 = 5 ]

Hence, it is proved .
