parallelogram = it has 4 sides

opposite angles are equal

opposite sides are equal and parallel

rhombus = it has 4 sides

all sides are equal

opposite angles are equal

these are the similarities

only prove that all its sides are equal u would be able to prove a parallelogram as a rhombus.
