Answer:

Frankly speaking, i was at very bad position 8 years back in my 11th class. I moved from hindi medium to english medium in class 11th and it had become my nightmare at that time. Being living away from my home had also made me nervous and i was frustrated from all of this, no hope left for me except the hard work and i ended up with getting 33/70 in the annual exam. I know it was not a good mark i could get, but not bad either and with continuous effort and hard work i understood the concepts of vectors, calculus and ended up getting 84 marks in the board exam next year all because of the strong determination. So what did i do at that time that helped me to reach here ?

I didn’t care about whether i’m going to finish my syllabus or not my only intention at that time was to learn. Yes you read it right. I decided to invest at least two hours a day in Physics and started from very basics. I observed that i was facing issues in derivations and this was due to not having any basic understanding in scalar and vectors and calculus. So i started practicing numericals on these and also started understanding the principles and properties of scalars and vectors. I found that i was also struggling to understand what mathematical expression dx/dt, ∫ xdx , ∑ , Π does and what is its physical significance. So i bought NCERT in Hindi started reading about these and after a week i was able to understand every bit of the derivations and the symbols used in this and at the end of January 2011 i finished first five chapters of physics. I gained some confidence and i started practising questions on derivatives, scalars and vectors. Only 20–25 days were left for the final exam so i thought of covering only easy and interesting chapters, so i picked chapter 4, 5 and 8 from part-1, 9 and 11-13 from part-2 to get descent marks and left other chapters. I was going to tuitions back then but i was not learning a bit from there and also i was not getting time to read by myself so i left my tuition also to prepare at home and stopped going to school on Monday and Saturday so that i can get plenty of time to prepare for exams.

At that time internet and mobile was not evolved much and now you have no of resources available to learn either from Youtube or from other websites. I would say first find out where are you facing issues and then start working on it from the very basics and make use of the resources available to you, you can learn by yourself. It is not that tough that you can’t understand it by yourself.
