u do not have to remember when u will understand the theory it will become easy and u will start making definition by yourself

Read two or three times.
Read the reminder of the chapter. and do problems based on the concepts.
Then read the definitions again. Now you will better understand the definitions. So try to memorize now , you will memorize better.
when you read 3 to 4 times for different exams, you will do get them easily.
