How to remember the mass number of any element.

Pls don't tell the formula. I want to remember it with a trick.and who will tell me the trick to remember it easily they will get the branliest mark​

Explanation:

  • There's no need to learn the atomic masses of each and every elements.

  • You have to know the atomic masses of first 20 elements, some transition metals, gr 18 elements and some elements like uranium, thorium etc.

  • The atomic mass is double the atomic number of an element. But it is not applicable for all the elements in the periodic table.

  • The atomic masses of elements like He, Li, C, N, O, Ne, Si, S, Cl, Ca are double the atomic number.

  • The atomic masses of elements like Be, B, F, Na, Mg, Al, P, Ar and K are not double the atomic number.

  • For these elements just double the atomic number and add 1.
