You can do the following...
*Use a spoon or other suitable tool to remove as much of the spillage as possible.This will make it easier to remove the underlying stain.
* Squeeze the juice of a fresh lime or lemon onto the stain. This works as a natural, mild bleach and can pre-treat the stain before washing. Alternatively, apply some white vinegar, as this will have the same effect. These methods are ideal if you’re out at a restaurant and don’t have access to cleaning products.
* Apply Surf excel or liquid dish wash directly to the stain and let it sit, before washing the garment as normal with Surf excel.

The stains become red because turmeric is a natural indicator and soap is a . when turmeric reacts with the base it turns red in colour. distance can be removed by the process of neutralisation like wiring and acid (i.e. baking soda) on this stain. this neutralizes the reaction of the base on turmeric.
