2》mark 4 cm on it as (xa)
3》againg mark 1cm from (a) as (ab)
4》now draw perpendicular bisector of (xb) which cut (xb) at (o).
5》hence draw an arc taking (o) as centre and (xo) as radius.
6》now draw a perpendicular line from (a) on arc XB which cut arc at (d).
7》now take (b) as centre and (bd)as radius draw another arc.
8》Mark that point as (root 4) where the arc cut line (xy)
