how to represent a number between 0and -1 ?

To represent a number between 0 and -1, we have to do the following :

0/1  ,   -1/1

0/1 * 2/2   ,    -1/1 * 2/2

0/2  ,   -2/2

-1/2 is the number between 0/2 and -2/2 .

[ 0/2 = 0  and  -1 = -2/2 ]

∴ -1 / 2 is the number between 0 and -1
