to represent root 15 we use pythagoras theorem
in a right angled triangle we will take base as 1 and hypotenuse as 4
thus the perpendicular root will be 15..

to draw the root 15,draw a line BC =1 unit draw BA perpendicular to BC.
from C cut an arc of length 4 units, let it itersect at the perpendicular at A.
Thus AB =root 15..
Hope this helps u.....
GOOD LUCK!

Answer:

Hi, buddy here is your answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

1st step: Draw a line of 15cm and name it AB.

2nd step: From B draw a line of 1cm and name it C

3rd step: Draw an arc of any cm from A and with the same measurement draw an arc from C.Join the arcs.

4th step: Measure AB and draw a semi-circle from it. It should reach Point C.

5th step: From B draw 90 degrees upwards on the arc and name it D.

6th step: Measure BD and draw an arc from point B to the direction of C.And that is Root 15 on the number line.
