well
theoritically it is not possible to achieve the speed of light.
because as we reached to speed of light
our mass reached to infinite so if u want to run as fast as light you should have infinte energy.
It is believed that if we reached to 99.9999999% the speed of it is said that we have high amount of energy but as we reached to 100% it is said that we have infinite amount of energy.
#BONUS EQUATION#
According to theory of relativity the velocity is related to mass by the following equation
m = m'/√(1-v^2/C^2)
where,
m = appearant mass
m' = rest mass
v = velocity of the object
C = speed of light
so as we reached to speed of light we have
m = m'/√(1-C^2/C^2) (v = C)
m = m'/√(1-1)
m = m'/0
so.
m = infinite ( thats the one of the major problem to reached the speed of light)
