Clear the area around your rose bush of dead flowers and leaves. Dead flowers and fallen leaves could cause your rose bush to develop diseases. Pick up any dead petals or leaves around the bush by hand and discard or compost it. Don't compost diseasedplants since it could spread to otherplants.
