How to send construction material to places of higher altitudes if roads are not present?

Using Helicopters, which are built to carry heavy load, the construction material can be connected to it via cords, and carried to higher altitudes.
Or, Transportation planes (Airplanes) can be used to carry such construction material to higher altitudes.
