Answer: Separating funnel is used to separate the mixture of two immiscible liquids. Kerosene oil and water do not mix with each other and form two separatelayers. The mixture separates into two layers according to their densities.

Anonymous: Oil will be up or kerosene?

hey your answer here

Pour the mixture of kerosene oil and water in a separating funnel. Let it stand undisturbed for sometime so that separate layers of oil and water are formed. Open the stopcock of the separating funnel and pour out the lower layer of water carefully.

I hope it helps

Anonymous: It's kerosene
misshasina: Hey mate, I have a question, will u solve it?
misshasina: How many valence electrons does chromium have?
vijaykagrawal02: Chromium has six valence electrons. The atomic number of chromium is 24, and its electron configuration is 1s22s2 2p63s23p63d54s1 or 2, 8, 13, 1 electrons per shell. The electrons in the 3d54s1 shells form the valence electrons as the five electrons in the 3d shell participate in chemical bond formation.
misshasina: Thanks
vijaykagrawal02: welcome
