How to separate salt and powdered clay?

for a salt washing process on a batch of 2m3, how to separate clay from salt?

The main contaminant is crude oil.

At lab scale I realized was easy to clean the soil separating salt and clay (easy to do with a centrifuge)

But now, to scale up the process, I don’t know how to do it in a cost effective and fast way

(the batch is performed on a place without electricity, all the devices only work with fuel)

We can separate the mixture of common salt and chalk powder by putting the mixture in water. As we know that common salt is a homogenous mixture, so it will dissolve with the water and chalk powder is heterogenous so it could be separated by the filter paper.
