One method and probably the easiest method of doing this is with the separating funnel.

Separating funnel is used to separate the mixture of two immiscible liquids.  Oil and water do not mix with each other and form two separate layers. The mixture separates into two layers according to their densities. The heavier liquid (water) forms the lower layer whereas the lighter liquid forms the upper layer (oil). Thus, the water is first collected in the beaker. and the kerosene is collected in another beaker.

We keep the mixture out to separate the oil and water first in the funnel. When the two layers are completely separate, we start opening the stopcock to let out the water slowly and carefully. Then, just when all of the water is flowed out immediately tighten the stopcock again to not let oil drip out. Then just simply collect the oil as required.

There are many more methods but this is most convenient.
