always keep in mind the value of root 2 is 1.414
:. multiply 5×1.414 = 7.070

express it in no. line
take 7.0 only

for other values.
root of
3 = 1.732
4= 2
5= 2.236
6= 2.449
7= 2.646
8= 2.828
9= 3
10= 3.162

AbhishGS: u should know the values of root then multiply by the no. with it .
AbhishGS: how mixed form I couldn't understand
dishita27: 5√2=√2×5×5=√50 ,and then we can mark √50 on no line
AbhishGS: okk how u will mark root of 50
AbhishGS: 5root2 if not possible then root of 50 also is not possible we have to take the values only
dishita27: we can mark it as, √50=√7^2+1^2=
dishita27: whose ans will be 7.0....someting
AbhishGS: correct idea but can't take root of addition of square of two nos.
AbhishGS: there is no rule
AbhishGS: if the nos. in root are in multiplication then the square can taken common and root them. But if addition comes then there is no rule
