we will substitute value of 0.126×0.4 in different

we can write 0.126 as

 \frac{126}{1000}

and we can write 0.4 as

 \frac{4}{10}

we have substituted the value as taking no zeroes depending on the no of character after decimal

now multiply them together:-

 \frac{126}{1000}  \times  \frac{4}{10}

 \frac{126 \times 4}{10000}

 \frac{504}{10000}

0.0504

we have taken this values by shifting decimal to leftwards respect to number of zeroes below

hence required no is

0.0504
