x =$\dfrac{26 - 11}{4}$

x = $\dfrac{15}{4}$

2( x + 1 1 / 4 ) = 13

2( x ) + 2( 11 / 4 ) = 13

2x + 11 / 2 = 13

2x = 13 - 11 / 2

2x = ( 26 - 11 ) / 2

2x = 15 / 2
