how to solve 3p+54p+2= 3p+44p+7

=>3p+54p+2=3p+44p+7
=>57p+2=47p+7
=>57p-47p=7-2
=>10p=5
=>p=5/10
=>p=1/2
=>p=0.5

Hey, Its your answer.

3p + 54p + 2 = 3p + 44p + 7

Adding common terms on both sides,

57p + 2 = 47p + 7

Transposing 47p to LHS and 2 to RHS,

57p - 47p = 7 - 2

Subtracting both common terms,

10p = 5 

Diving both sides by 10,

10p/10 = 5/10

p = 1/2.
p= 0.5
