how to solve 4^2/3. please explain

(4)^⅔=(16)^1/3 or cube root of 16,
cube root of 16=2.5198421....

In this case you use the rules of indices...

Where

a^(m/n)

= (n√a)^m


So here in this case m= 2 and n=3, so:

(∛4)^2

= 2.5 is the answer...
