Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This can be factorised by common factor method

4x^2 -2x

=2x(2x^2 -1)

So factors are 2x, 2x-1.

Hope it is clear

Answer:

2 x ( 2 x - 1 )

Step-by-step explanation:

we have to factorise  \large \text{$4x^2-2x$}

Taking 2 x as common in both

2 x ( 2 x - 1 )

So we factorise and get answer 2 x ( 2 x - 1 )

Now equating both side to 0 we get

2 x = 0

x = 0

or

2 x - 1 = 0

2 x = 1

x = 1 / 2

For zeroes we get  x = 0  or x = 1 / 2

Some method to factorise the polynomial are :

Mid term method

Sridharacharya method

Completing square method

Quadratic formula
