  • For addition of fractions the denominator must be same.
  • To make the denominator same first find the LCM and then multiply the fractions so that the denominators are same.

For example :

2/3 + 3/2

LCM is 6

2/3 × 2/2 = 4/6

3/2 × 3/3 = 9/6

4/6+9/6 = 13/6

hope it helps !!
