How to solve any series and parallel circuit problem?

whenever you are given series circuit then calculate the over resistance
$r = r1 + r2.....$
Put results in ohms law



In parallel do the same:
$\frac{1}{r} = \frac{1}{r1} + \frac{1}{r2} .......$
put it in ohms law
