Hello friend

Your solution is given below

Given p(x)= 2x^2 - x - 6

Find x=?

We know that

By using splitting middle term method,

==>2x^2 - x - 6

==> 2x^ 2 - 4x + 3x -6

==> 2x ( x- 2) + 3(x-2)

==>(2x+3)(x-2)

==> x = -3/2 and x = 2

So the values of x = -3/2 or 2

I hope it will help you a lot

Thanks
