Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let your polynomial be p(X)

Firstly using Hit & trial method put value 0,1,-1,2,-2. By putting one value lets say a, if your answer comes 0 then x-a is a factor of p(X).

Second divide p(X) by x-a. Your answer must come 0 as x-a is a factor of p(X) it it is not comming recheck the whole divsion.

By dividing you would get a quotient q(X). Remember q(X) will always be an quadratic equation. Factorise q(X) by formula or splitting middle term. You will get roots as b,c.

Then solutionfor p(X) = (x-a)(x-b)(x-c)

By using Hit&Trail Method

Put a value, any number

But putting one value lets say p, if the resulting answer is 0 then x-p is the factor of f(x). Divide f(x) by x-p then answer must come 0 as x-p is a factor of f(x).

By diving you would get a quotient p(x). Then p(x) will be a quadratic equation. Factorise q(x) by the quadratic formula or by splitting the middle term of the equation.

You will get the value of x.
