Solution -

Total number of children = 24

∵ Total number of sweets in the box

= (No. of children × No. of sweets given to each child)

= (24 × 5) sweets

= 120 sweets

According to Question,

The number of children is reduced by 4

No. of children = (24 - 4) = 20

∵ Number of sweets given to each child

= Total no. of sweets / No. of chidren

= (120/20) sweets

= 6 sweets

∴ 6 Sweets will be distributed to each child if the number of children is reduced by 4
