 \sqrt{32}   + \sqrt{8}  = 4 \sqrt{2}  + 2 \sqrt{2}  \\  = 6 \sqrt{2}

first we have to factorise the numbers under the root sign.then take a pairs of similar numbers and take them out of the root sign amd remaiming numbers will be inside the root only
