The graph is a straight line through the origin, verifying that the pressure (P) is proportional to (1/V), verifying Boyles Law. Also all values of p

are the same.

P∝1/V ∴p=k(1/V)

∴ When different values of pressure are plotted against the reciprocals of the respective volume(1/V). This graph justifies Boyle’s law because the straight line is obtained which passes through the origin.
