We will use this algebraic identity to solve the question.
(a + b) (a - b) = a^2 - b^2
According to the question,
(p - 3) (p + 3)
p^2 - (3)^2
p^2 - 9

Using identity a^2-b^2= (a+b)(a-b) ans will be p^2-3^2
