and area of bcd=68cm square

ar[ABCD]=ABD+BCD

122=ABD=68

ABD=100-68=32

THEREFORE THE AREA OF BCD=32 CM SQUARE

From diagram it is clear that abd is a right angled triangle

so ar [abd]=1/2*b*h

1/2*b*9=32

b=32*2/9

b=7.11 cm

therefore the length of ab is 7.11 cm
