( √x + √y )² / ( √x - √y )²

= [ ( √x + √y )/(√x - √y ) ]²

= {[(√x+√y)(√x+√y)]/[(√x-√y)(√x+√y)]}²

= {( √x + √y )²/ [ ( √x )² - ( √y )² ] }²

= ( x + y + 2√xy )² / ( x - y )
