Solution:-

From the given figure :

4 cubes are joined end to end then it becomes a cuboid

Length of the cuboid=9+9+9+9=36 cm

breadth of the cuboid=9cm

Height of the cuboid =9cm

Total surface area of a cuboid

=2(lb+bh+hl) sq.units

=>2[(36×9)+(9×9)+(9×36)] sq.cm

=>2(324+81+324) sq.cm

=>2(729) sq.cm

=>1458 sq.cm

Volume =lbh cubic units

=>36×9×9 cubic cm

=>2916 cubic cm
