First Arrange the given numbers either in Ascending or Descending Order:

-4.8, 0, 2.3, 3.5, 3.9, 4.6, 5.2, 6.1, 7.6, 8.2, 9.3,12.7

Now number of terms(n)=12

If n is odd then Median is in the position=n+1/2

If n is even then Median is the average of

n/2 position and (n/2)+1 position:

i.e. Here n=12

then n/2position=6 position=4.6

then (n/2)+1 position=7 position=5.2

Median = Average of 2 numbers= (4.6+5.2)/2 = 9.8/2 = 4.9

b is correct
