let the present age of Sita is X and the present age of Geeta is y

according to question

x = 3y ------------------------------------(1)

9 year later

x + 9 = (2y + 6 ) + 9

x + 9 = 2y +15

x - 2y = 15 - 9

3y - 2y = 6

y = 6 --------------(2)

from equation (1)

x = 3 × 6

x = 18

so the present age of Sita is 18 years olld and present age of Geeta is 6 years old.
