Answer:

Plug in the given x and solve the equation for the y values.

Step-by-step explanation:

A) Plug in the given x and solve the equation for the y values.

For x=-2

y=(-2)^2+3(-2)-1

y=3

For x=0

y=(0)^2+3(0)-1

y=-1

For x=1

y=(1)^2+3(1)-1

y=3

B) Graph the x and y coordinates from the table as usual (ex. the first is (-4,3). Then a draw line through all the points.

C) Draw a vertical line through x=-0.5 and mark where that line intersects the one you drew in part B. Your answer would be the y coordinate of the point of intersection.

Hope this helps! :)

Answer is - 2 because as u solve for x and draw the graph u will get a parabola as above so when draw it wrote it come to-2
