The simple method is to subtract the sum of the other exterior angles from 360°.

In the triangle, 125°, 125° and x° are exterior angles.

∴ x° = 360° - (125° + 125°)

⇒ x° = 360° - 250°

⇒ x° = 110°

In the pentagon, four exterior angles are there; 60°, 70°, 90° and x°.

And one interior angle, which is 90°. Its corresponding exterior angle is also 90°.

∵ 180° - 90° = 90°

Now let's find x°.

x° = 360° - (60° + 90° + 70° + 90°)

⇒ x° = 360° - 310°

⇒ x° = 50°
