area of a trapezium= 1/2 ×(AD+BC)×AB
24.5= 1/2 × (10+4)×AB
49 =14×AB
AB = 7/2cm
now ,
AB = radius of quadrant
area of shaded region = ar(trap) - at (quadrant)
= 24.5 - 22/7 × 49/4× 1/4
= 24.5- 22×7/16
= 24.5- 9.62
= 14.9cm sp
