Hey there!!

Let us take the original population as ' x '

This population was increased by 1200

The new population = x + 1200

Decrease 11 %

We will have to find 11 % of x + 1200

= ( 11 ÷ 100 ) × ( x + 1200 )

= 11x + 13200 ÷ 100

Now, to find the population, subtract this from the original population

x + 1200 - ( 11 x + 13200 ÷ 100 )

LCM = 100

( 100 x + 120000 - 11x - 13200 ) ÷ 100

89 x + 106800 ÷ 100

This population is 32 less the original, which means, if we add 32 to this equation it will be equal to x

( 89 x + 106800 ÷ 100 ) + ( 32 ) = x

LCM = 100

89 x + 106800 + 3200 ÷ 100 = x

89 x + 106832 = 100 x

106832 = 100 x - 89 x

106832 = 11 x

x = 106832 ÷ 11

x = 9712

The original population is 9712

Hope my answer helps!
